Chapter 3

New Queen

         Lucky was horrified she just watched her mother disappear! Lucky tried not to let out a sob but couldn't keep it in. 

"Hmm? Is that stupid servant crying?!" The cloaked figure yelled.

        She walked over to where Lucky was hiding and moved the curtain away.

"Ah! The little Princess! Just who I was looking for next!" She exclaimed.

"What did you do to my mother!" Lucky cried.

"Oh lets just say she went on a little trip!" she laughed.

The cloaked figure closed her eyes and started to mumble. Lucky started to feel dizzy and a bit sleepy. She just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep and wake up and see it was all a dream, but she knew it was not. All the sudden Lucky heard a voice in her head singing.

"Yes that's right time to go to sleep," The voice said. It kind of sounded like the cloaked figures. "This is taking longer than usual." It said again.

       Finally Lucky fell asleep. As she did it felt like she was falling into a never ending abyss of darkness and could never see light again.  

"Ah it feels good to sit in this throne!" the cloaked figure said.

         Baron walked into the room. He was confused on what he saw.

"Where's the Queen?" He asked.

"Oh she went to the loo. She had to go really bad." she said.

"Ok...." Baron said kind of disturbed. "Who are you?"

"Hmm.. well your not going to be in your right mind soon so.. I guess I can tell you." the clocked figure said as she stood up tall. "I am Victory." Victory said proudly.

Victory? Baron was confused. He had never heard a Victory in there kingdom. What did she mean by he wasn't going to be in his right mind?

"Now Baron-

"How did you know my name?!" Baron asked. "I never told you!"

"Well I have a special talent of reading minds. Yes I can tell you don't like me. You can't keep any secrets from me sorry!" Victory laughed. "Anyways close your eyes!"

Baron stood there. He didn't want to know what would happen if he did.

"Oh for pete sakes!" Victory yelled angrily.

Victory waved her hand and Baron's eyes suddenly shut. Uh oh Baron thought. Then a weird feeling washed over him. It felt cold, but at the same time burning. Then he heard mumbling in his head. Baron tried to open his eyes but they seemed glued shut. Then it felt like someone else was in him.
